Occultic Spell Craft in Christian churches Entry for March 30, 2007
This is just an observation and not a condemnation of christian churches. The other night I was watching the news and there was a program about a ministry to keep young people from leaving Christianity. This ministry was started over 20 years ago. However it appears it has failed in it's purpose since young people are leaving christianity in record numbers.

The things the Pastor does to keep teenagers in churches is to hold a loud rock concert but the rock is Christian Rock. This in itself is odd to me because in the first 4 centuries or more of Christianity instruments of music was not used because us Pagans used it in our worship and the fact it was not commanded in the New testement. Oh I know Christians who want to justify instruments of music use David and the Old Testament as an example but they fail to read the condmnation of David inventing the use of musical instruments for worship by the prophet Amos. Amos chapter 6:5 is a very clear condemnation of David using musical instruments in worship. Remember God considered David special and overlooked many things he did, but held others accontable for doing the same things because it is written that David was a man after God's own heart, but again it is also written that God is not a respecter of persons, but there is suppossed to not be any contradictions in the bible,. Oh Well.

Anyway that is a different subject and the point I want to discuss is the spell casting in churches. The news cast showed this Pastor getting the kids to write down the things they want to get rid of things in their life such as any bad behaviour, or attitudes or actions or anything that holds them back from being the Christian they should be. Then they must visualize these negative traits vanishing and good traits taking their place, then they walk single file dow to the Altar and drop the paper in a box or tub and then a prayer is said and the list of papers are burned and the negative traits are said to be destroyed.

In my lifetime going to different Christian churches and then my 20 some odd years in the Churches of Christ I have seen many things similar to this and it always bothered me because I had had just a little occult experience in my early 20's and knew this was spell casting.

As a pagan I have no problem with casting spells and being involved in the occult, but my religion now is Wicca which is an occult religion. However I find it odd and hypocritical for christians to practice spell casting, but I do realize that they have no idea that they are using the occult to bring about things they want in their Christian life. Again it is not my intention to bash christianity, I am just writing observations I witness and hopefully before any one condemns me for being involved in the occult, they might possibly read this and see they themselves are involved in the occult also. My point is and I have said this many times and have got many christians mad, but my point is modern Christianity is simply Paganism in disguise and the followers do not even know this. I mainly say this during Yule which christians call Christmas and Easter because these two holidays are the main Christian holidays and are pagan holidays distorted to appear christian. Don't believe me? Before you type a coment trying to tell me I am wrong, just research these things and you will be suprised if you are a Christian. These comments are no different than sermons I used to preach as a preacher, the only difference then is I was trying to cause Christians to leave pagan ways behind and now just trying to show Christians we are no different than they are, we just know what we do whereas they beleive they are different and do not do the things we do.
    Blessed Be.

Do you recall what news show/broadcast you may have been watching? I would like to look it up and watch it if it can be found. I agree with what you are saying!
